Practices:

Spring Ball:
Practices begin in April. Weather permitting we will be outside asap. We hope to get some gym space in case the weather doesn't cooperate. Be sure to read through all this information.Practices will be held at Bates Park or Emricson Park. An outdoor field schedule will be released. Practice times are first come first serve. If you cannot get a time you need, please reach out to see what we can arrange.

How often:

Spring Ball:
2 per week
-6u-1hr practices
-8u-1 to 1 1/2hr practices
-10u and Up-1 1/2 hr practices

Fall Ball:
1 per week
-6u-1hr practices
-8u-1-1 1/2hr practices
-10u and Up-1 1/2 hr practices

This is a document that the board is working on putting together in conjunction with our training helpers. It lists the skills expected at each level and some drills to go along with that. There are so many good resources out there for drills etc these days. We made the document to help keep the training consistent for the girls. The best advice is to keep it simple! 

Equipment:

You will receive a bucket of balls, Catchers Gear, Team Bat

    ** Helmets, fielding masks can be handed out on an as needed basis

The equipment boxes behind field 6 will have some additional equipment for practices including tees and tennis balls and I'm hoping to purchase some more wiffle balls. This equipment will need to be shared and replaced back in the box. If equipment starts going missing, or doesn't get put back, we will have to stop putting it out.

Keys:

You will receive 2 keys. One to the shed by the parking lot and one for the equipment boxes behind the fields. The shed by the parking lot is often used to distribute equipment or other things we need to get to you.

First Aid:

We will have first aid kits inside the box as well as an AED.
